We spent three nights here and thought it fantastic value for money. It is quite close to the Town Centre but the road was quiet. There is a lovely courtyard to relax in and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and Rene was a very helpful host. We would certainly stay here again and recommend Casa Verde

We absolutely loved Casa Verde - the backdrop is stunning (Sucre is an amazing place to visit), the rooms are really nicely appointed, the breakfast is delicious and Rene is the mastermind who helped us find out about things around town and where to go, what to do. A really enjoyable place to stay!

Like every other review I can't praise Rene, Louis, Marguerite and staff enough for the 2 fabulous stays I had at Case Verde. First time was for 2 weeks and second time was for 7 weeks in Mar/Apr 2012 when I became part of the furniture. Everything is perfect - I was even fine with the extra kilogram or two... More

The hostel is a great place to relax, the interior patio is sunny and the communal room pleasant. Beds are extremely comfortable as well. For the price, there probably isn't a better place to stay in Sucre, and I would highly recommend it.

We were supposed to stay two nights, but a flight cancellation meant we only got one night here. It's a lovely place. Rene has done a great job of fixing it up and it smells (and is) clean. That might seem like a strange comment, but so many hotels and hostals in this part of the world smell musty, even... More

We stayed here in feb and had a great time. Rene is the owner and went out of his way to ensure our utmost comfort. We stayed in a double room with a private ensuite, the bed was very comfortable and Rene gave us our own room heater for the chilly nights. Our room was cleaned daily. The breakfast was... More

Clean, basic but spacious rooms ideally located just a short walk away from the main plaza. Lovely patio area for relaxing in, decent breakfast and wifi connection. Excellent value for money ! Rene is very helpful - offering to accompany me to the bank to speak to the manager after I spent the good part of a whole day in... More

We decided to treat ourselves as we had been in basic accommodation for a while and were very happy that we did, the place is fantastic, run by a lovely Belgium man Rene who goes out of his way to be of assistance. We booked a superior room which was £11 pppn and it was huge, we felt like we... More

Rene, the owner, definitely makes Casa Verde special. A kind Belgian man, he is helpful with everything, from coordinating the reservation details, to waiting the morning breakfast table (in our case, with multiple rounds of coffee), to securing a radio-movil in the midst of the carnaval craziness. Owners like this are rare in Bolivia and reason enough to stay here.... More

The owner of the hostel is so helpful and informative. The breakfast is amazing too - bacon and eggs, fruit, hot chocolate, cereal, toast, bread. The place was very clean and the room was big enough for four!
