I booked this due to the good reviews on tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. The staff were nice and room was good although in my room the shower was literally adjacent to the toilet, no doors. Not too far from city centre, nice hostel, well decorated, clean, excellent breakfast with fruits. Nice shared kitchen. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Only thing, there was no cupboard or anything to hang our clothes.. we were staying for 3 nights. And in the bathroom, the shower is basic, right on the floor, but fine.

I loved my time here (I think it was 10 days). It was clean, well run, and the owner Jorge and all the staff were extremely kind and friendly. I came down with a stomach bug two days after arriving in sucre and thankfully I was at Takubamba. The staff were amazing and te rooms were spotless.
