Converted colonial building with rooms facing internal, enclosed courtyards, so no fresh air and lots of noise from staff and guests. I never will understand why so many hotels in South America ruin things by putting glass over internal courtyards...

The old style interiour is what makes this old place special. However, do not expect international standard. Everyhing was ok and the staff is very helpful. However, the hot water system is as old as the place and you either have an abundance of hot water or a cold shower at 8 am - you never know. The breakfast room...

Staying in the Capital Plaza, Sucre wasa great experience - an unpretentious hotel where one can relax and feel at home.. It is very well -located and very well run. There is a lovely atmosphere where one feels looked after without being fussed over!
It is also excellent value for money.
