This was probably the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff was super nice and helpful. The hotel is older but the cleanliness made up for it.

I was at the Days Inn in Alpena, MI last week again. It is a great place to stay, nice rooms and exceptional staff at check in and check out. Great morning breakfast and about 200 yards from an Applebee's for a great dinner.

Staff was very friendly. Reasonable rates. Clean!!! Room was a little bit dated in decor, but it was clean and kept up. Hallways and breakfast area were clean and kept up. Quiet. For being a small town, this was a great surprise. Not too much around for food though. McDonalds, Walmart, Culvers, and Applebees.

Nice hotel. If you like to sleep in, don't get a room close to the office. The noise of people passing by to get to breakfast starts around 8:00 am.
