Don't you love having your clothes and your sinus reak of smoke? Well if you do, the Hampton Inn in Auburn Hills is for you. As I'm sitting here in my room, the smoke is pouring thru my bathroom vent, and all management can say is "we're sorry". They've explained that they don't know which guest is smoking, so I... More

Hotel is located near many local business as well as major shopping centers. Location is very convenient to I-75 and yet very quiet. Great if visiting Great Lakes Crossing, Somerset Mall or Village of Rochester Hills for shopping. Also close to Palace of Auburn Hills and Walter P. Chrysler museum and other attractions. Staff was very friendly and all seemed... More

The main reason you might decide to stay here is that it is located literally 5 minutes away from The Palace of Auburn Hills. It's a decent hotel, very similar to all of the other Hampton Inn hotels (my preferred chain when I'm away). Everythink was A-OK during my recent stay. By the way, after reading other reviews, I can... More

Bed was typical Hampton inn which is good. This is a renovated Hampton inn but not sure how long ago. bathroom layout was cramped and awkward and same for the exercise room. The breakfast area is tiny and very busy in the morning. Next time I would go 5 miles north to a newer Hampton inn with better dining options... More

Stayed at the Hampton Inn during a shopping weekend for US Thanksgiving / Black Friday. Room was very clean and no-frills, and the bathroom was new-ish and also very clean. There are three outlet-type malls within an hour drive of the hotel (We went to two -- Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills, which was about a 5 minute drive... More

I stayed at the Hampton Inn on Saturday November 19th for one night with by best friend for a girls shopping weekend. The Hotel is in a great location for Great Lakes Crossing and all other shopping in the area. We didn't goto the Palace Theatre but it is very close to that as well so would be a great... More

Quick checkin, front desk personnel very willing to help with your questions regarding Restaurants and things to do in the area. Free breakfast was adequate for our needs. Only down side was the beds could of been a little larger as we were travelling with the mother inlaw 2 people to a bed was a little tight. Overall would stay... More

On a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high), my overnight experience was a 5. Not great, but not the worse either. Just OK. But by Hampton Inn standards, certainly unacceptable. On the plus side, the staff was very pleasant and friendly. And the outdoor pool area was clean, nicely cared for, and attractive. The free complimentary breakfast was adequate,... More

I was in town for a 1 night business trip. This was a typically good Hampton Inn stay but the hotel is older and my guess is a convert from another chain. I was greeted warmly and professionally. They had my keys waiting for me so the whole checkin process took less than a minute! The room was fairly large... More

Our first visit to this particular Hampton Inn in conjunction with a two day U.S. shopping excursion focusing on Great lakes Crossing Outlet Mall. Received quick friendly service at check in desk, no problem with our early afternoon check-in time. Standard king room was well appointed and clean. Hotel is set back a bit from road fronted by some nice... More
