We loved the Murder Mystery Dinner!! Fantastic, fun, the food was second to none. Not only was it the best food we have ever enjoyed, but the presentation was unbelievable. Sharon is a first class chef and her creations were truly masterpieces and so very delectible .The service was first class....we loved everything. We had ghost kitties visit our room... More

Myself, my husband, my sister and her husband all went to Thayers, participated in the mystery dinner and stayed for the night. We had a great time, Sharon is a wonderful host. We had fun at the mystery dinner – the food was fantastic!!! Here is the good stuff: My husband and brother in law are great skeptics and were... More

I was given a 2 night stay as a 50th Bday gift. Our Family lake cabin is near Annendale, and we were given a 2 night stay as part of my 50th Bday celebration. Though we stayed in what is labelled the most haunted room, we didn't experience anything unusual. The room was very comfortable, and the place has a... More

We chose the Thayer because we were staying with family in Minnesota and wanted a short getaway while our child stayed with the grandparents. Of course, the ghost hunting classes and high teas really got our attention. When we first got there, we were a bit surprised to see the hotel sat on a major street. But the second we... More

My husband and I are avid "Ghost Hunters" watchers. When I heard about the haunted Thayer Bed and Breakfast, I thought that it would be a wonderful way to spend time with my husband. We were amazed right away at the decorations around the B and B. Everything is Victorian--Everything!! Sharon, the hostess led us after a sumptuous dinner in... More

The rooms are absolutely beautiful and the hospitality of Sharon and her staff is absolutely the best! Sharons Chef's Choice dinner should not be missed, no restaurant around compares!! We will stay again and again so... More

I stayed at Thayer's for a wedding in Sept. 2004. The room was victorian beautiful. The garden was beautiful. Everything was perfect. I forgot to mention to the owner before she retired for the night that a friend would be staying the night in my room, and in the morning she had only expected me for breakfast. Without complaint, she... More
