We made reservations by phone when we left Flagstaff, the room was ready when we arrived about 1pm. We had spent the two previous nights in Howard Johnsons in Oklahoma City and Flagstaff, the room was nicer and roomier than either of the HoJos. We took an afternoon drive to Death Valley Junction, Pharump (gas $3.69 there!!) and Devil's Hole.... More

We left Death Valley after watching the sunset over Zabriskie Point, drove towards Amargosa by the light of a full moon and after about 30 minutes spotted this place just metres over the Nevada border. It wasn't difficult to spot because it's lit up with hundreds of lights and has an enormous cow sculpture outside. We decided to stay and... More

We stayed on 20th March. We had a huge comfortable room with a fireplace looking out onto the pool with ducks. The receptionist was helpful and advised us to have dinner early (or late) as a coach party was arriving. The walls to the room were thin and my husband heard our neighbour snoring throughout the night, luckily both neighbours... More

I would predict that this place will be out of business in the near future. They gotta be dying on the vine as it is. They are so understaffed it is crazy. With a little more staff this place would be great, but because the place is so understaffed the stay was un-enjoyable. Very nice room, no service. Oh yea,... More

While the hotel is old we agree........the people make up for it. We have stayed in the motel twice each two nights. Plus a week in the RV park! The people draw us back! And the food has changed from one time to another but we LOVE coming back. More

We just spent 2 nights in Longstreet Inn to celebrate New Years Eve. Had a very nice time with live music and dance. Hotel is comfortable, rooms are spacious and the view on the mountains is great. On the downside, thin walls and the heater/airco makes so much noise the surrounding rooms will hear it. More

This is indeed in the middle of nowhere--there is some sort of saloon across the street, but that's it. It was a good location as the price was reasonable and it is only about 30 min. away from Death Valley's mains sites. The pricing was reasonable given the Thanksgiving holiday. The room given was a nice one, smoke-free, and a... More

We made a reservation here because it was the only affordable and available hotel near Death Valley. It was very comfortable and clean. It is in the middle of nowhere, and we ended up looking for it in the dark- I thought I'd never find it due to Google map's misleading directions (I'll never use that again). The desk staff... More

This place is no luxury resort, but perfectly fine for staying close to the eastern entry of Death Valley. It's just ten minutes north of Death Valley Junction, the point you need to pass anyway when entering Death Valley from the east. Reception was friendly and the rooms are spacious enough and have everything one needs after a hot day... More
