We stayed at River garden for four nights in April 12 (We were only looking to stay for two nights but liked it so much we stayed for two more). We stayed in a bungalow and it was great, very clean, comfy bed, great aircon, big wet room and nice personal touches. At 45 dollars a night with breakfast it... More

My friends and I spent a few days here by the pool as it was suggested to us by the tourist information office. They let you use their pool providing you buy some food or drinks which is more than fair. Despite this it wasn't busy which I was shocked about as it is so lovely here! The areas around... More

The bathroom was not so clean. The rooms, I think after we stayed elsewhere we saw they were overpriced just a bit. The food was good and the service too. The beds were good. The privacy was not so good in some rooms. You walked by and couldn't help but see into the rooms as many have sliding window doors... More

My friend and I arrived on a Sunday evening and stayed for four days. We came to Siem Reap on vacation from our jobs in Vietnam (we're teachers). We stayed in a triple room (I think #7), even though there were just the two of us. The beds were very comfortable and the facilities were clean. My friend and I... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and felt really comfortable. We had a nicely decorated, cosy room in the upper floor, enjoyed delicious cocktails at the pool and the decent breakfast. We also hired one of the River Garden Tuk-tuks for our tours to the temples of Angkor. The stuff was friendly, most of them speak quite good English. If... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during a 5 week trip around Indochina. We booked this hotel based on the reviews here on Tripfinder. The hotel provided an efficient transfer service form the airport which was waiting for us on our arrival. Our first impression on arrival at the hotel was something akin to organised chaos but we soon discovered... More

Decided my booking after reading rewiews from TripA. The first impresion of the entrance /reception is one of a room that badly needs a fresh hand of painting , another softer type of lightening ( argh! those neon lights!) and nicer furniture...Staff is very nice , maybe sometimes too friendly that you wonder what they expect from you..( an extra... My family and I spent 4 days here, loved it! Great food (really cheap!), nice people and the New Zealander who owns it (correction to a previous review :)) is a great guy. Good value, lovely place. More

First impressions were of an old entrance area in need of a make over, it was just untidy and a little disorganised. the staff were lovely and very helpful, in fact a little too attentive, but that does not make up for the building. There are little kitsch signs every where that tend to be annoying after a while, the... More

Just returned from Siem Reap and had a fabulous time. I took a 12 hour bus ride from Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. At the end of the journey, I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the hotel was. Set amid a lush garden, with a wonderful pool and friendly staff. Spent some time with the hotel manager who... More
