Great guest house, with excellent, friendly and very helpful staff. Received a warm and genuine welcome upon arrival. Great value with lots of little touches making it a great base in Siem Reap. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights and have been delighted with the outstanding service at The Cashew Nut. It's such a nice refuge from the chaos out on the street and the staff are brilliant and will do their best to help you. We had Alan arrange us a tour guide (Ms. Alann) to take us through Angkor Wat/Angkor Thom etc,... More

We stayed 3 nights here in the deluxe room. It was basic, clean, safe and with air-conditioning. What more do you need? Always ready with advise on what to do, where to go and what drivers to use...what not to eat that you bought @ the market! Everything they suggested was wonderful, I only wish we were not quite so... More

The location is a bit of the beaten track. Which is a GOOD thing! The main street in town is a bit chaotic for me. It's a 10 minute walk (or a $1US tuk-tuk ride) from the Pub Street/Old Market area. And about a 20-30 minute tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Wat. Alan, Khemrak and the rest of the gang go... More

I spent 4 nights here last year in Jan 2012 when Cashew Nut was fairly new, and I cannot say how amazing Alan made my trip to Siem Reap. Alan gave me the best itinerary for my 4 day stay and helped me figure out my boat trip to Battambang. Although the guesthouse is a little far from the action... More

Stayed with 2 girlfriends. Due the the reasonable price we all booked a room each. Nice big clean rooms with air con and bathrooms. Great roof top balcony to have a drink at the end of the day and look over Siem Reap. The staff were super friendly and the Host Alan went out of his way to make sure... More
