I had very pleasant 3-night stay in Wooden Angkor. The airport pick-up went very smoothly. On arrival very cheerful, relaxed service. Was offered welcome drink and wet towels. Room was quite big, with conveniences. Wifi worked well. Big bathroom with bath and their own shampoo-bathfoam in handmade wooden containers were a nice touch. Also the room service prices were very... More

I have read many reviews here and elsewhere, and, so often, people's views are as much about them as about what they are reviewing. My expectations are a room that is clean, safe, and has the basics, which in Cambodia in May are a/c, hot water with decent water pressure, a refrigerator, a safe, and a friendly, responsive staff. I... More

While there are a lot of choices of hotels in siem reap, we could not have chosen better! The staff was the most incredible, the free morning breakfast was delicious, and the main market and pub street were within perfect walking distance. The best is the overall comfort and service. The staff greeted us always by name, joked with us,... More

My brothers family and mine, we stayed there for three nights. The hospitality is simply outstanding. For a small hotel, they have taken care of all aspects. Place is very clean. Breakfast was served in the terrace and the ambience is very nice. Though there was no AC, the wind was so much that we have to place weights over... More

My father and I stayed here for three nights during our trip to Angkor Wat. It was an excellent calm retreat from the noise and tourist chaos of Siem Reap. The hotel is very traditionally styled with beautiful dark wood, the staff go to great lengths to make you feel welcome and it is in a good location (but not... More

I found the location to be good, because it is away from the noisy main area. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The air conditioning worked well, but the other areas of the hotel do not have air conditioning. Breakfast was basic but convenient. I took advantage of the massage in your room at a great price, which was... More

My arrival in Siem Reap didn't start well. The tuktuk driver from the hotel was about 40 minutes late picking me up from coach station, and when I'd finally arrived, although the staff were welcoming and offered me cold drinks and a wet towel to refresh myself, I felt a bit overwhelmed when they began to tell me about all... We arrived at the Wooden Angkor after a very long bus ride in the evening. The staff was very nice, helpful and gave us some good information about the temples. The rooms are clean and cheap. The roof-top restaurant served good food and is a nice place to stay for a while.

The staff at Wooden Angkor are very helpful and really friendly. They make you feel very welcome and make sure you enjoy your stay. The location is ideal as it isn't far from Pub Street and markets. The rooms are great value - very clean and a decent size. There's a rooftop restaurant which is reasonably priced and serves Cambodian... More

If this hotel had a pool I would have given it 5 stars. The location is very good as you can walk to the street market and Pub Street and the hotel is very clean with pleasant rooms. They serve breakfast on the roof deck and it was one of the better breakfasts I had while in Asia.
