This is a great hotel which is excellent value for money. It is not luxurious but is very clean with modern rooms and a large pool in an excellent location. It is a pleasant and pretty 2 story smallish hotel (which we like) centred round the swimming pool (which was fantastic as it was so hot although the water was... More

After booking this hotel in the UK and then arriving in Cambodia, it was a pleasant surprise! This hotel has all the facilities and not to far too walk to the bustling and interesting markets. The in-house tours of the temples including Angkor Wat were very expensive. I would recommend doing what we did and go into town and hire... More

Just come back from 3 week trip, stayed in this classy hotel while we visited the Temples. Quiet, luxurious hotel with spotless rooms and a gorgeous pool that we desperately needed because it was soooo hot! Staff couldn't do enough for us and we loved calm breakfasts on the terrace. We didn't eat dinner here but it was short 10... More

The staff here tried very hard to please. Our room room was large and clean, on the ground floor (deluxe pool twin)with large en suite with bath and shower over. Beds a little firm but ok, pillows small and thin. Breakfast was on the terrace by the pool (lovely to sit here), a small selection of fruits and bread but... More

We stayed at the Royal Bay for three nights in February. It's in a quieter location of Siem Reap but within easy access to the busy central area. The hotel itself is very pleasant with it's gardens, central pool and terrace restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room on the first floor was spacious and well-equipped, with a balcony... The hotel is very close to town yet in a tranquil setting. All rooms face the pool with ground floor rooms having a small private garden and first floor rooms a small balcony. Food and drink are expensive by Cambodian standards. I would recommend that you make your own arrangements for drivers and guides for sightseeing, as the hotel prices... More
