There is currently some noise from the building site next door. It should not last much longer. The noise is only an issue during the days. This will be a great hotel when finished - good location - close to Old market

This is a new hotel. Good location, clean, friendly . has lift!! Mid range - Ok value during the off-season. Worth another go during peak season. Looks like they are expanding and maybe noisy during construction period

I heard good review from my aunt when she was staying there for 3 nights, but when I arrived with my friends, I was so disappointed to see the rooms are old especially the Bathrooms, ughh almost unbearable. The floor was not clean. Not recommended. oh I am Cambodian so my expectation is not high, but it's cheaper compare to other hotels around the pub street area. 15$ per night for two people.

My husband and I spent three nights here on a tuk tuk drivers recommendation from the bus station. Great price for a basic, very quiet, comfortable, clean room. So convenient to walk to the popular areas. Enjoyed satelliete tv (have been to Siem Reap a few times). Very polite staff. Would stay here again.

If you have no experience at staying in Siem Reap, you might think you stay is "ok". But believe me this place is overprice ( for foreigners). Locals pay about 25%. I have lived in Asia for 34 yrs. have lived in Thailand for 16 yrs. have stayed in Seim Reap 5 times, with multiply friend make stays at dozens. This is a decent hotel for US$12. But, there are scores of guest houses at the $10 - $15 range that are 3 - 4 times better than this place...

I stayed there on January, 2014. This is a very basic hotel, but it is more than enough if what you need is just a place to sleep, take a bath or such. This hotel is located in Siem Reap's heart. It is quite close to restaurants, markets, money changers, drugstores, etc. It is also a few blocks away from Pub Street and you are a tuk tuk drive away from Angkor Wat. The hotel includes breakfast in their rates, but the options are limited. You can always walk a few steps and have breakfast some other place. They also gave me free transportation from the airport to the hotel. Service was ok, the room was clean and they were always available to help me out in case I needed something. There I got to contact my tuk tuk driver, Jaime, who was very polite and helped me out with directions and getting to every place I would like to go during the whole week. I would probably stay here again in case I get to go back to Cambodia

My and my wife spent there 3 days. Room was quite big, aircon superb, big fan, all the facilities we needed + great wifi. Tough in the night time it was quite slow, but good enough. -Good breakfast from menu (over 10 options) + coffee -Great and helpfull staff, always smiling and greeting. -Great and trustable tuk-tuk man in front oh hotel. We used him every day as prices was decent and he drive safe and knew every place in Siem reap. The man was great! -Price was good per night! -Location is SUPERB! So close to everything. Basically in city center. I have nothing but good saying about this hotel! We'll definitely go back if we visit Siem Reap again. -Alex & Waritda / Thailand

We came here as a walk in after the hotel we had booked turned out not to exist(!). New Bequest is in a good location, near to everything but far enough away to be quiet. Our room was a bit tired (top floor) but it was clean and everything worked. Wifi was generally good but it does occasionally run out of licences in the evenings and early mornings meaning you have to try a couple of times to get on it. Most staff are ok to good, but the young guy who speaks English on reception (daytimes) is absolutely fantastic, really really helpful and one of the best receptionists anywhere. I didn't catch his name but his English is miles ahead of anyone else there so you'll know who I mean. Tuktuks tours were the normal price for Siem Reap and the drivers are very good, we used them for the Classic and extended Angkor Wat Tours and also to go out to Banteay Srai and Kbal Spean. Shop around for bus transfers however - they booked us with an awful company to Battambang (something like Rith Mony) and it was dire. Breakfast at the hotel is not worth the money and the service is slow, go elsewhere for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again - the service is fantastic.
