The Good part, was the price, the location, the people I met and the coffee.I stayed at this place for 14 days from Feb 27/12 to Mar 12/12. I usually travel solo,so, when I saw that the mark up rate from double to single occupancy was less than 15% (ie $869 double vs $999 single) it was a no brainer. The location is... More

We think the hotel was recently renovated, because our rooms were remodeled and very clean. The stuff very friendly and helpful and the food was good. The pool was half shaded, which is very good in that heat when your sensitive to the sun and it was cleaned everyday. A highlight are the bartenders: full of jokes and stories and... More

I think this is the worst hotel I've stayed at, I will never come back, please stay away: service is really bad, they mistrust their guests and treat them like robbers, rooms have 70's TVs that just don't work, baths are public school like... Need more to decide? WiFi is painfully slow, elevators are small and always crowded, room smells... More

As soon as we arrived, I noticed that it was much louder, darker and and crowded in the lobby area than I'd hoped for. Although my first impression wasn't the greatest, as long as the rooms were nice, I knew I would be fine...unfortunately we never quite made it to that point. After the receptionist had a difficult time finding... More

As soon as we got there we knew it wasn't a good place, crowdy, full of people in reception, loudy music. We and other people had to wait for our rooms for about two hours, then having bought the honey moon plan, they gave us a standard room with a disgusting bathroom. We complained about that and the only thing... More

Great place for families. Felt safe. Staff were courteous. Food was typical Colombian - healthy. I'd recommend it to my friends with families. The young lady general manager canvassed opinion and remedied to concerns we had regarding guests. More

Disgusting, horrilbe hotel!!!! We are with the Canadian Embassy in Bogota. Our children came here from Canada for a nice holiday. The El Dorado is the WORST hotel we have ever seen. Very unsafe, we just about got robbed on the beach outside the hotel. The only security was a man at the front entrance of the hotel. He was... More

This hotel is terrible, since the food until the rooms. I booked one thing in internet (yes, ´cause it´s look like a nice hotel - in my opinion, it´s an faultly advertisement, like we use to talk here, in Brazil) and I found another, totaly different that I bought. The shower wasn´t work because didn´t have water. The elevator didn´t... More

I arrived at this Hotel and immediately knew I was in the wrong place. There were a bunch of kids running around in the lobby, several people waiting for one elevator, a broken down building that resembles the Projects of NYC. I was terrified to say the least. This place, in my opinion, should be demolished and rebuilt. It took... More
