Its was a pretty good hostel, rooms were clean and have the necessary things for a backpacker. It is in the center of santa marta meaning there is a lot of restauranta and stuff near it. Prices are pretty affordable.. Cheap!!

Stayed for 2 nights. The owners are lovely, don't speak much English but were very patient with my bad Spanish and happy to help in anyway. They gave us good advice for our stay.
Rooms are basic and old but ok. Courtyard is nice, kitchen is ok, again basic and old but functional.
Location is not the best in my...

We were meant to stay 3 nights but we decided to cross the road and check other hostels. We found out that this hostel charged double and had smaller rooms. The first room we were shown was so dirty when I put my hand on it, I got like black dust all over. We asked for a second room which...

Actually, this is not a bad hotel. A bit expensive for the small room with hard bed that you get, but it's clean and the terrace is a nice place to chill, especially when you just return from the Ciudad Perdida tour as we did.
The laundry service however was extremely expensive and then it happened, when we were chilling...

I stayed in total for five nights - before and after my "ciudad Perdida" tour. The house itselves is huge, and has three terraces. One of them with nice hammocks. From the rooftop terrace you have a nice view over the city. The people are friendly and helpful. Whenever you need them, just go and ask. They don't speak english...

We stayed here for a few nights on either side of our Ciudad Perdida trek. Its a fairly good value place to stay - we had a double room with a bathroom. No aircon, but the fan was OK and kept the room at a reasonable temperature. Staff can help book tours etc which is useful if you´re using Santa...

Staff was friendly & helpful, but sometimes gave us odd advice-- for example, they knew we were budget travelers, but strongly suggested we take a cab instead of the bus to the airport for our morning flight because the bus didn't start running until 6:30 a.m. (we flagged buses down the day before to confirm what time they started airport...

It's a huge building owned by a family that is just not very nice or trusting of people. The dorm room is all the way on the 4th floor and the kitchen smells like urine at night and has no cutting space or counters. The building ("hostel") is home to numerous local families and their children who watch loud television...

I only stayed for one night. The hotel looks better on the outside and it has nice common areas. My single room was the smallest I have ever seen. It had a TV, fan and private, but very tiny bathroom. The shower was crammed-in in behind toilet. It was difficult taking shower in it. The fan was very old and...

The family that runs the place is excellent. The rooms are basic, the terrace is fantastic for socializing and chilling out. The kitchen is good but needs a more constant attention (unfortunately many people don't seem to clean up after themselves and the owners give the kitchen little attention. Really if you're in Santa Marta and want a great budget...
