Stayed at Timor Lodge for 7 nights and wasn't impressed. We were assured that this is the most secure lodging compound in Dili and yes there were guards at the gate. I LOVED my stay at Timor Lodge. Nothing flash but very comfortable & excellent service. Biggest cup of coffee I have ever been served! Hot running water was a nice bonus too. Can't wait to go back.
