Stunning views of the bay and great rooms, staff, food. This was a great land-based vacation and the best of the hotels we stayed in on the different islands. Well recommended. More

I just returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands. We spent two nights at the Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge. It was WONDERFUL! When we arrived, we were greated by employees of the hotel and welcome drinks. The room I had was clean and well appointed. I loved the set up of this lodge. The reception area was open and... More

The hotel's name says it all. It is an adventure. We stayed in the Azul Room which overlooks the ocean and provides a view of the decked restaurant area where sea lions climb the stairs to sun. There is a large private balcony off the room with spectacular views of the ocean. The large bathroom faces the ocean view and... More

My husband and I have just returned from 5 nights/6 days sea and land adventure through Red Mangrove, what an amazing experience, best of both worlds above and below the sea. We stayed 2 nights in Santa Cruz and 3 nights on Isabela, both accommodations were beautiful, clean, staff really helpful and friendly, buffet meals but were really good. The... More

Red Mangrove in Puerto Ayora represented one of the best hotel stays of my life! To start off, the location is perfect! Right in Puerto Ayora and in front of the sea, you can't beat the views you get from the sea front rooms and the restaurant / porch where breakfast and other meals are served. Everyday you are visited... More

Two couples on this trip. We all rated this hotel 5 stars. Very nice, air condioned, large rooms. Convenient to shopping and walking to the Darwin Center. Buffet style eating at all meals - well prepared and plenty of variety. More

We just returned from the Darwin Short tour with Red Mangrove with our children ages 11, 9 and 5. I was a little concerned about taking the tour with kids and I didn't see any postings on Trip Advisor about taking the tour with children. I heavily debated land vs. boat and in the end decided on land due to... More

I checked into the Hotel and encountered a problem with one of the restaurant staff. I travel quite a bit and really was not expecting the Manager who I asked to speak with, to really care. I was very wrong. Monica the Manager I spoke to really did care about my experience and made a huge difference in my stay.... More

After enjoying a fantastic five day trip to Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and Sacred valley with a private guide, we continued on to the Galapagos Islands. We booked a 4 night tour of Galapagos with Red Mangrove for late Feb 2012. When we landed in Quito the Red Mangrove guide was not there to meet us as scheduled so we had... More

Dear GeorgeM69 We sincerely lament that the glitch on your mainland pick up affected your perception/experience of the Enchanted Islands, where the conditions of nature rally cannot be controlled or manipulated in any way to exterminate nature around us as this is a national park and a protected ecosystem.
