Another wonderful holiday but occupancy was seriously low and we have huge concerns about the hotel's future. There were only 180 guests and surely it cannot be financially viable for this to continue. We did hear that The Hyatt were not renewing their lease but we could not get any information from the staff. For such a fantastic location and... More

Greetings from sunny Taba I would like to thank you for all the wonderful comments you posted and would like to respond on this review for clarification. I’m not surprised that the employees couldn’t give you more information on the mentioned subjects as it is the wrong information you received. Every Resort Hotel or destination has their peak and low... More

This was my fifth visit to the Hyatt in Taba and it's always a great holiday. The hotel is set out like a village and has three pools. What really makes the Hyatt so special is the staff. They are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. This is definitely the place if you want a... More

Managed to persuade my husband 3 years ago to try this place/hotel. He loved it, especially as he could pop down to the Waterworld diving centre and renew his Padi whatever! We needed a last minute break this year and could not afford much, so I suggested this hotel again and my husband jumped at it....he'd booked it before I... More

Really lovely, clean and well maintained hotel with sea and garden views. Friendly, well spoken staff who aim to make your stay comfortable. Good choice of food, well presented and cooked. Pools, spa, space - really pleasant place to spend a relaxing holdiay. Local dive centre (Waterworld) excellent with many local dive sites - shore and boat dives available. The... More

Just got back from my fourth visit to the Hyatt Regency Taba Heights and again, it exceeded all expectations. The tragedy for the hotel is that it is running at such low occupancy rate - yet is without a doubt the best hotel in Taba Heights. Sofitel next door is noisy and unfriendly and nowhere near as clean as the... More

We absolutely loved this hotel. We booked it because we wanted to be able to visit St Catherine's Monastery and possibly Petra and so Taba Heights seemed to be a convenient resort, and the reviews on Trip Advisor were encouraging. Two years ago we had stayed at the Sheraton Miramar at El Gouna and I could see that the architecture... More

Such a shame about the food as the hotel has super rooms, wonderful grounds and facilities having probably the best swimming pools I have experienced. The staff are friendly and helpful and our room being a sea front room was enormous with a huge terrace with the most fantastic view over the sea to Jordan. However, all this seemed in vain... More

This is an ideal location for honeymooners, familys with small children etc. The location is very quiet and not near any nightclubs or pubs. (There are bars onsite) It has its own private beach but might not be the best place to swim as there is a lot of coral and children would hurt their feet. Great if you want... More
