We didn't stay in the hotel but had been to the restaurant 'Kadal' for dinner with family. The food was good but not exceptional. Service was slow even though there were hardly any people in the restaurant. The ambience is good (although the lighting is dim) and the view is lovely.

Nalapad residency was a great stay.we had a good food in kadal with friends. And the room service need to improve a bit i guess.......... restaurant has a excellent location!!!!!! its a must go restaurant..I shall recommend Nalpad residency to the people who wants to visit mangalore!!!!!

Overall a decent property. The staff is polite and cheerful. The rooms are clean, though not spic and span. Party central! This building has 12" gaps connecting the rooms from below and above. That's right...all the noise, conversations and yes, smoke, leaks into your room. Management tried phoning and knocking on the door but the party kept rolling to 1am. Only great feature is an everlasting hot shower. No wifi or cell signal so forget communicating.
