Puthooram is a nice resort with small, well kept huts on Varkala's north cliff. The rooms are nicely decorated and come with A/C, ceiling fan, mosquito net and a small bathroom with hot water (not that you'll need it). Kerala is definitely a must see. Puthooram is a great place to stay in Varkala Beach, very comfortable and luxurious huts. The rent is very affordable and the Kerala style food is great.
