The Oberoi Vanyavillas really is a unique property. The staff was among the friendliest we experienced on our 17 day trip in North India, they really make you feel at home. The tents are beautifull and have every luxury you can imagine. The hotel really is perfect to relax and enjoy.

There are some 5 star hotels which only deserve 4 or less stars but Oberoi Vanyavilas earns its extra star in every aspect! Upon arrival, we were not only greeted by cheerful staff with fresh face towels and refreshing drinks, but also two very cute elephants!

We had a wonderful stay at Vanyavilas. The staff are charming, friendly and attentive. The service is great, as is the food. The tents are extremely comfortable. We loved the elephants and our stay was topped by seeing 2 tigers. What more could you ask for?!

We were greeted by two elephants, and fell in love with them. You can ride them for 1,200.00 rupees (22 US), it's not a long ride, but was FUN. Bring apples from the room to feed them. Mahla was a little naughty and kept grabbing shrubs which was funny to me.

We stayed at the resort in April 2012 with our three children aged 13, 11 and 7. We experienced wonderful hospitality and real care from the team.
