The family of the Little Garden Guest house is extremely hospitable. Upon arriving in the morning, they cooked me breakfast and shared some chai with me. I had some complicated travel plans, and Akshay was extremely helpful in taking time out of his day to track down the information I needed since I was internet-less. The rooms are warmly decorated... We stayed (just) for one night, but it was just perfect. The guest house is centrally located and you can walk to all attractions. we were greeted very warmly and enjoyed the company of Akshay and his parents. We stayed on a Sunday and Akshay showed us around in the city and explained so many things - it couldn't have... More

This was my first experience staying in a Guest House (and my first trip to India), and I could not have been more pleased. The guest house is well maintained, the rooms are great, and the view from the top balcony is stunning. In addition the location is fantastic. The house is located right below the walls of the city... More

A lovely rustic home on a fairly quiet back alley off of the main strip leading up to the City Palace. Akshay and his parents are lovely people and very welcoming. Their food offerings (which I didn't expect) were delicious and very homey. Their chai was a daily treat. The rooms are very private and in a sort of tuscan... More

Little Garden Guest House feels like a very expensive hotel with the immense benefit of a welcoming and kind family, keen to make you feel at home. I'm a museum curator, traveling on my own, so appearances and atmosphere really matter to me. The rooms in this 300 year old house have been beautifully restored and furnished. Akshay could not... I cannot recommend Little Garden Guest House highly enough. First, it fulfils all of the traveller basics in terms of location (perfectly nestled off Udaipur's bustling central streets) and comfort (immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable beds, and no problems at all with hot water or shower pressure). But more importantly, Little Garden is made truly unique by the efforts and wonderful... More

We absolutely loved our time at Little Garden Guest House. Akshay was an amazing host!! He went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and even gave us a personal tour of the old city palace, which enriched the rest of our sightseeing experiences throughout Rajasthan. His family (dad, mom and sister) are all extremely sweet and hospitable,... More

I spent 4 nights in Akshay's family guest house. Authentic air with an incredible hospitality, I recommend this guest house strongly. Akshay would go out of his way to help me with local attractions and advise on what prices to expect.
