Nice property. Though one would not rate if 5 star, it's the best you can possibly get in a place like Varanasi. Cleanliness was upto the mark. Food wasn't great. The wifi did not work properly. Overall a good place to stay. No major complaints.

“Does this deserve to be called a Taj property?”

This is a very old very tired hotel. The guests are mostly indigenous and they tend to treat the staff like dirt. As a result most of the staff have adopted and indifferent and arrogant manner. “best in varanasi”

a nice property with expansive lawn and gardens, but the best part of this hotel is the service. every need gets taken care of at the earliest, with a smile. the hotel may add a bit of variety to the buffet breakfast and dinner menu. would surely recommend

“Nice property a little old though”

This is one of the best place to stay in Varanasi. I have been staying there since last 10 years, no problems Some rooms do have traffic noise, that can be improved by using double glazed windows Rest everything is perfect, it's at the entry of the city so airport & station are easy to reach.

A very nice location,excellent lawns and property for relaxation. Excellent service if prior orderered. Minimum wait time is 15-20 minutes...but worth the wait. Cute rooms ...cozy and relaxing. Break fast spread is nice ,do try the Indian vegetarian its impressive. If you are a pickle freak...do binge !!!!!
