kedin inn on popies 1 is good budget spot....spent 2 nights on arrival in bali and 2 more when leaving....20 usd in low season w/ac.....pool and courtyard are outstanding.....300 yds to beach...6 usd to airport....tj's mexican right up the lane.....

Yeah, so Kedins does have a nice location and the rooms and grounds are well-maintained, but they have so much business due to Lonely Planet that the staff is surly, bored, and unhelpful.
