We stayed in the waka namya for 4 nights in april and had a lovely stay. The staff are really friendly with lots of advice. the shuttle bus is great for getting to and from the centre, although it is not a far walk. The rooms are lovely, comfortable beds and plenty of space. The bathroom particularly the outside shower... More

Stayed here with friends and had an enjoyable experience hotel offers a car service which is fantastic just call them in Ubud and they pick you up saves walking up the hills of Ubud. The hotel was relaxed and offered free wifi the breakfast is limited but the nasi goreng or mi goreng is delicious will stay here again More

Very nice house and swimming pool. Each house with a pretty yard, a large bathroom and an outdoor shower. Free wifi, free fruit. All things are wonderful except some dirties in the mosquito and the bathtub (actually the bathtub is very huge). A bit far away from Ubud center. More

My wife and I came to Ubud for two weeks of R&R. We had been to the town before and had stayed at some of the other more commercial hotels. For the most part, they had been disappointing. Waka Namya was a wonderful change. The hotel is small and intimate, but secluded enough to feel like you are away from... More

Resort feels typical Balinese. Pools lovely. Setting lovely - nice gardens and gates etc. Service - nothing too much trouble and free shuttle into town and back very handy. Room nicely decorated but ours had an unpleasant smell - asked staff to mop the floors and okayish after that. Outside bathroom a novelty but if you don't like creepy crawlies... More

We had a beautiful stay at Waka Namya last month! The staff of WN is really attending and helpful. Trips, scooter rental, food, service: everything is taken care of. We really recommend the beautiful accomodation in peaceful Panestana, just 5 minutes from Ubud! More

we left it late to book our accommodation in Bali- we spent 3 nights in hong kong and arranged our Ubud accommodation from there. On the phone the lady was very helpful and quoted a reasonable rate which included 2 x 30 min massages and a free dinner- bonus- we booked! it is quite a drive from the airport- about... More

though the grounds are beautiful and the room spacious, the air conditioner doesnt work, and the hot water is lukewarm at best. the place has character, but is not very well kept up and kind of dirty. the staff is polite and kind, except when they are trying to force you to buy their tour packages. in all honesty, im... Bali, the island of Gods. One of the most feared destination for most unmarried couples. If you haven’t heard, Bali is known to have a curse which has broken up several relationships including mine years ago. This holiday was a much needed and anticipated one. For several reasons, my Javanese other half (we shall refer as PC) and I wanted... More

We stayed here for a couple nights and regretted not having longer to enjoy it. The location is an easy 20 minute walk into central Ubud, but their shuttle service was always easy to deal with as well. (and the driver we had was very friendly. I forget his name, but he was amazing.) I had read some old (2... More
