We stayed 5 nights in Pratiwi villa/s with our two children. Although the smallest of the three Gayatri villas, Pratiwi can easily accommodate 6 people, with three bedrooms and bathrooms, a living area, kitchen and a private pool. Around the villas and pool was a lush tropical garden. The rooms and pool were decorated with frangipani flowers every day. There... More

Our family of 4 stayed in Paratiwi in August 2011. Overall we had a fantastic stay here and would recommend to any family. Gayatri is quiet, peaceful and well located. We got a good price of $300 per night and felt this was fair, I feel the list price of $450 would be a little high unless a little more... More

We stayed for 4 days and it was a relaxing experience to live in a local neighbourhood instead of a large resort for a change. The villa was very private, well appointed and the staff are extremely helpful and hospitable. The breakfasts cooked in your own kitchen are a nice touch. The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean... More

My sisters in law and I stayed at the Gayatri Villa Pratiwi for 4 nights. It was the first trip to Bali for my sisters in law and my first time in a Balinese B&B villa. I was extremely pleased that the warm hospitality extended to us during our stay in Gayatri Villa left a lasting impression on my sisters... More

We stayed in Villa Amarta for 2 nights while on our honeymoon in November 2010. I'd read the amazing reviews on this site, so was expecting something pretty special, and while it was a lovely villa, we were left disappointed by several aspects of our stay. The three villas are very close together, and it would be possible to stand... More

This is the second time that I have stayed at Gayatri Villas in Sayan, Bali. Each time we were greeted at the airport by the Manager Gigih and driven through the steamy night about an hour through artisan villages and ricefields. My first experience with Gayatri was in March 2009. I was blown away....this trip proved to be even better.... More

While filming our travel show in Bali, Gayatri Villa offered us the perfect location to unwind and rest after a busy day in the Bali sun. The views were spectacular and the villa was quiet located close enough to town to be convenient but far enough to be a little "out of the way" of everyone else. The staff and... More

At almost 3 kilometes of Ubud, the Gayatri Villa offers a luxuruous residence for 2 or more people wanting to take advantage of a upper class taste, sound details, privacity, pool, special breakfast, quietness, free chauffeur to drive you to the city. And, as hoped in the spirit of Bali, the kindness of the manager and of all the personal.... More

We came as 4 exhausted friends looking for rest and rejuvenation and we well and truly found it in 3 days. Our wonderful host Gighi could not do enough for us - from organising private yoga, massages, shopping outings and cooking school ..... All done with such graciousness. All of his staff were wonderful and the breakfast is amazing!!! The... More

I stayed at Gayatri for two weeks with fifteen friends on a meditation retreat. We looked at amany options and nothing was comparable in terms of privacy and generosity in accommodation. The three villas, each with their own swimming pool are gorgeous and the staff could not do enough to accommodate our every need. We felt cocooned and cared for.... More
