Standards, location and exemplary quality of service elevate the Uma to the top of any list of places to stay in Bali. Yes it meets international standards but all are enhanced by Balinese warmth and service. For six years we have benefitted from stays at the Uma with occasional lapses due to our failure to secure reservations in a timely... More

A Home away from Home, Uma is Inviting from the moment you arrive until the somewhat sad moment that you leave but actually want to extend your stay! For me close to perfection, fantastic food in the Kemiri restaurant at night, the to-die-for Breakfast in the morning sun overlooking a fish pond with the biggest Koi I have ever seen,... More

We had such a lovely experience at Uma Ubud from the moment we arrived. The property itself is a gorgeous lush garden, quite close to paradise. The open bar area is perfectly situated as a calm gathering spot for afternoon coffee or a delicious and healthy fresh pressed juice. We initially stayed in a terrace room, with a magnificent view.... More

We stayed at Uma Ubud for 7 nights. We had a pool villa room and then finish our stay in the larger villa. The hotel, grounds and staff were amazing. Loved the Rice Paddy Walks each morning, followed by delicious breakfast with some many options and the most hospitable staff. The only faults were that the bed and pillows were... More

Dear Jo H To read a guest refering to Uma Ubud as a 'Haven in the Fields' is heartwarming and yet completely befitting. Our small boutique property hopes to offer our guests something memorable - and so we thank you for enjoying it as much as you did. To ensure we meet the high standards for which COMO Hotels and... During our two week trip around Bali we stayed in Ubud, Uma hotel for 5 nights to have calm and luxurious stay. Uma has made a perfect balance between Ubud's lush natural environment and luxurious hotel. To us it was very important to feel that we truly are on a tropical island and yet have that high end hospitality and... More

Uma is my most favourite hotel in the whole wide world! As soon as you turn in from the road, peace and tranquillity descend and stay with you until you leave. Check in is always fuss-free and competently and swiftly completed. The cold refreshing white towels are a joy and are infused with the signature Invigorating essence. Accommodation is sympathetically... More

I recently squeezed in 2 days at the Uma alongside a business trip to Jakarta. Before I even arrived, in my planning stages, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and gracious in helping me schedule some excursions to maximize my short stay. They responded quickly via email (not counting the 12 hour time difference-induced lag). The grounds of the hotel... More

At first it seemed that "uma" Sanskrit for "home" was all a bit of publicity and marketing spin. I am quite cynical about these things - but after 3 days it really did feel like home and we didn't want to leave!! From the moment we arrived ( a little shell shocked from the busy, bustling journey from the airport)... More

The situation is excellent, in its own world set in natual surroundings with lovely long views. Our roof (40) was at one end. Delightfull quiet with a mixture of rain forest and views over the river valley. The room had a lovely clean modern feel that still fel in keeping with the place. The lush planting all around the grounds... More
