nice hotel with a pretty view over the manado tua island, overall all very nice experience although if one wants to dive bunaken park everyday the boat drive can take ca. 2h one-way....food was OK, and all the staff very nice, helpful and friendly, recommend to take the highland tour (nice for the last day after diving and before flying)

We stayed in room 22 which is on the side of a small hill right on the edge of the sea. The room was large and clean, with a semi outdoor shower area. This is a beautiful, quiet resort - nestled between the jungle and the sea. The diving was outstanding and the food cooked to order and superb. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Andrea the Eco Divers manager always made a point to see you first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Great personal touch.... More

Decent resort if you're expecting 3 star quality. Beware of all the warnings about diarrhea and stomach cramps in the previous posts. I ended up throwing up all night on my last night there. Have no idea what did it but suggest sticking to safer looking foods from the menu.

We booked this place on the strength of a previous visit to Eco Divers (the in house diving club) at another resort - they had moved to Minahasa Lagoon in April. As the last review says, hygiene is not one of the strongest points for this resort. In the week I spent there 5 people were ill with some kind of stomach bug, sickness or diarrhea including me! Most of the food is pre cooked and then microwaved when they are ready to serve you. The microwave wasn't being used properly... More

We booked through Eco-divers and stayed in a sea-view cottage which was nice. There was no mosquito problem around these cottages. The only annoying thing was the floor boards that were creaking really loud. The beach didn't not look very inviting but the resort has nice pool.
