Very nice hotel, especially compared to most other hotels on Sumatra. WiFi in reception hall, restaurant was fine but swimming pool horrible with water more resembling soup than water. We did not take a dive here. Too bad, because rest of the hotel was really good. More

We stayed for 2 days in this Hotel recently this June 2011. We were told that the Hotel was a 4 star hotel. But i can give the rating for 2* only. The room was damp. A lot of cracks can be seen. The walls at the room is like yellowish in colour. AND THE WORST IS THE TOILET. IT... More

Basic hygiene and cleanliness are very poor, had to ask for change of room as the first one was so deplorable, the substitute was only slightly better. My tour guy explained that the hotel had its heyday 15 years ago when it was still managed by Sol Melia. It has been managed by the owner in the past 10 years... More

The room is good: big bed, very good hot shower, cosy and clean. The building looks nice when you look quick but when you look better you see that it needs some maintenance. The lobby, the bar and the restaurant are old fashioned with NO atmosphere and although there were a lot of guests there was nobody in the restaurant... More

Valued for MONEY ! Staffs are friendly though there is a minor problems with communications. Going to town is easy and cheap if we know how. My advice is to take the "ANGKOT"(small bus) which costed a person 2000 Ruppiah to go to town. If one like to try take a ride on the BENDY ( Horsecart Ride), it will... More

The room looked quite good, although there was some scribbling on the wall in a corner. It was clean enough, but we had some small difficulties with the shower. I didn't go for a dip in the pool because it looked like the water was slightly muddy. The food was really quite good (especially the fish), but stay away from... More

Pusako is about 10min taxi ride from the town center of Bukit Tinggi. There are "Opelets" that can take you to the bottom of the road from the Central Market (where all Opelets start and end). It is a better hotel than the Novotel in town because it is resort-like. Whereas Novotel is very tight for space. The finish, however... More
