We literally just stumbled across this place when we unexpectedly found ourselves in sengiggi. We initially intended to stay one night but stayed three then returned a week later for another two. Santai is just one big beautiful garden on the beach and the bungalows just fit into the garden as though they are a part of the garden. In... More

I stayed in the Santai Beach Inn for 2 nights, before heading over to the Gilis for further relaxing, and it really doesn't get too much better than this. The bungalows are each nestled in the trees in the complex, but there's a warm intimate feel about the whole area - the sound of the sea 50m away is therapeutic... More

Beautiful location right on the water. lovely garden and traditional archetecture. Very happy staff who are obviously cared for by the businesses. very ethically run. Beautiful authentic experience staying here. Share meals where delicious, using local produce and a lovely sense of community. Soft sand paths very pleasing to the feet. Great breakfasts Best part of our month in Bali... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, in a standard room, which was just wonderful! I loved the outdoor shower. Breakfast was included, which was served in the communal area, consisting of a local dish, varying from a sort of black rice pudding to fresh fruit and pancakes. Other meals could be taken (you needed to opt out of these if you... More

Quiet, lush garden, ethnic character, very close to sea. The open bathroom was nice. Every cottage has its own porch. And the way you lock your room? Unforgettable nice traditional style. The light is dim, so you better read your books by the day. ;) The meal was good and the owner was friendly. They even have small library on... More

We've been to Bali a number of times and got tired of paying a fortune for the designer simplicity of the Eco tourist resorts. Right on the beach and at a 10th of the price. the huts are traditional, charming and comfortable, and as of mid October certainly no mosquitos. Beautiful gardens and quietly helpful staff, who don't hassle you.... More

First of all, the resort itself is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. The word resort is actually not the right word for it since it suggests the Puri Mas or Quinci Villas atmosphere. Which it definitely has not. Built in traditional style with winding, white sandy paths so it's feels great to walk on bare feet,... More

Really nice place to spend few days in Lombok area. This is place to relax. The bungalows are spacious and have outdoor terrace with hammock. The rooms have mosquito net, clean bed and fan. There is electricity available also from cottages, just remove fan socket, and there you go. ;) Alternatively you can charge you devices by using library/hanging-out area... More

Firstly, this place was balm to the spirit for our group of three. The setting is beautiful, and I slept better here than I have anywhere else away from home. The sound of the waves is almost the only sound you hear after about 10pm. We stayed here for a week. The mosque is far enough away that its calls... More

When I saw this place the proximity to a busy road worried me. I could hear traffic noise but it was not too disturbing. The issue of no power outlets in the room should be noted on their website. Having to go to the kitchen to charge my phone and then wait for it to charge is bad! People wander... More
