Riki and Dov really made us feel welcome, even though we arrived shamefully late. The hostel is not fancy, but very clean, functional and cosy. Breakfast was delightful. You can just see that they would do anything to make you feel at home. It is little bit outside of the town centre but we had a lot of fun going... More

In the midst of a sprawling garden with shade trees and pots filled with herbs and flowers sits the Safed Inn. A quiet retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life where waking with bird songs is the only sound you hear, except perhaps the wind through the trees. Looking for good old fashioned hospitality in a peaceful, relaxing... More

The Safed Inn (aka Ruckensteins B&B) is a fabulous, tranquil, place run by the most warm and welcoming family, Riki and Dov Ruckenstein. From the moment we walked into the cozy entrance and met Riki - it was as if I had just been reunited with a girlfriend who I hadn't seen in 10 years and we just picked up... More

The Safed Inn, also known as the Ruckenstein's B&B is the crown jewel of B&Bs. or Zimers, in Northern Israel. The facility is run by husband and wife team Ricki and Dov, who are the nicest and most accomodating people you will every meet! We stayed in a delux room, with jacuzzi tub, that was magnificient. The light breakfast was... More

It's a beautiful quiet place and perfect as a starting point for trekking. The owners Riki and Dov were extraordinary friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Riki was very kind and planned for us the complete route for the next day to get to see as much as possible. Our room was nice and cosy with many heaters and lots of little... More

The owners of this family hotel, Riki and Dov Ruckenstein, make you feel very welcome. They always give you very good advice for a good restaurant or a beautiful walk in the nature. You can go very easily to the center of the old orthodox and artistic city Safed or the luxurious village Rosh Pina where you can drink all... More

This is the 2nd time we stayed at the Safed Inn since we were so impressed the 1st time. This time we stayed in a double rather than the deluxe suite and it was just fine. We love the hosts who are very nice and helpful. The Israeli breakfast on the first day was spectacular but way too much food... More

When we arrived at the Safed Inn during our vacation in Israel, we were a bit frazzled from all the touring and driving. Once there, we had a chance to unwind and relax. Riki and Dov were excellent hosts. They answered many questions we had and gave us a number of great suggestions, which we followed as they know the... More

Place to be. From views to the garden, from Riki to Dove -- friendliness and peace. Food and drinks. Air and beauty. Located high above Safed with the gorgeous panorama and everything within a short ride -- from Kinneret to Mt. Hermon to Naharia. Come and enjoy.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Safed Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, with homemade preserves and wonderful fresh bread (even though they were kosher for passover, the muffins were delicious). The host and hostess were super friendly and helpful in giving us directions and dinner... More
