Six of us stayed one evening in February 2012. We arrived after dark in a blinding, cold rain storm (which of course continued through our tour of Safed the next day). The room was very comfortable, although I think they may want to hand out additional comforters or something during such cold weather.
We did not try the hotel's dinner,...

A beautiful hotel with charm. We had a room with a large patio and a hammock. Though a bit chilly to spend much time on the patio, it was appreciated. Lots of steps. Parking spaces are limited, but we always found one. Have to pay additional for wifi. Excellent breakfast, but dinner was not at all appealing. If you need...

We arrive in Safed after traveling in Israel and having all positive experiences. The receptionist was the most unfriendly and hostile person I've ever experienced at a hotel. Then we had to wait about a half an hour for the room to be ready when we were already about an hour after the time when we could supposedly check in....

We stayed at the Ruth Rimonim for 2 nights. It is a perfect location for touring Tsfat. Everything is within walking distance. We parked our car in the free parking lot and this freed us to walk around the city, stopping back in our hotel room for rest periods. Tsfat is really a city that must be seen on foot,...

My parents and I stayed at the Ruth Rimonim for 2 nights in early 2012. The room was very nice, our view was magnificent, the breakfasts are amazing and among the best that we have had in Israel. However, there was only pay-to-access internet at an exorbitant price which we thought was absolutely ridiculous. Here we were, in an upscale,...

Pros:
The breakfast was delicious and the selection was excellent. Our room was beautiful, cozy and came equipped with high vaulted ceilings. The stone walls gave the place a certain charm that made it truly memorable. Our gorgeous bathroom came fully equipped with shampoos, lotions, scrubs, and dead sea skin products. The TV had just enough channels to ward off...

This is a very unique historic stone hotel. We booked 3 rooms, each overlooking the valley with arched entry to the enclosed balcony. This a a very elegant hotel with stone arch ways and tiled floors. We ate in the bar one night and asked to share a salad. The bartender made us one of the most delicious and unique...

The Ruth Rimonim is better than I remember fro my last visit! The redid their lobby on the upper side of teh hotel, it's new and elegant. The front desk was very helpful for everything I needed (except an extra charger for my iPhone, but hey, how much can a guy expect?).
The whole week following Chanukah it was pouring...
