The area This part of the Galilee is simply beautiful. The picturesque city of safed is just a few minutes away. If you have a car you can be in wine country in just 20 minutes. There are large wineries like Galil and Dalton, as many smaller ones including ben Zimra, Ramot Naftali, Amrams and the unusual Rimon whose wines... More

Hotel disappoints in almost all parameters. We stayed for a weekend at Dec2011. We thought that at this price level we can enjoy a boutique hotel as written in the hotel brochure, but did a big mistake. All the spa / indoor pool / sauna area was not heated at all - and It's freezing cold there. One Jacuzzi for... More

This hotel-spa' location is very high on hills overlooking Safed. Views from the hotel are magnificent. The hotel is located about 3 kilometers from the town so you have to drive there. The hotel has heated pool, dry and wet saunas, jacuzzi , Turkish ham-am and one may order body massage and other treatments. The breakfast and dinner are very... More

The best part of staying in this hotel was that we had a big discount since my partner's workplace paid most of the cost. Looking at the internet site before arrival I had great expectations - good food, tai chi lessons and special atmosphere. Upon arrival I found out I was wrong on all counts. The food was below mediocre.... More

This beautiful hotel high in the mountains of the breathtaking Galilee has five-star facilities, abundant, healthy food, and caters to an adults- only crowd who are looking for a place to recharge their batteries. I can't express enough what a lovely time I had in this secluded haven of peace and tranquility. I can't wait to go back. More

I never usually write reviews but here i will leave a word. I have been in many hotels arround the globe and this is the most overpriced at 1600nis to say the least. Service= NO, one person has three jobs at the hotel.... The be fair the security guard was nice, warm and should run this hotel. The only way... More

This hotel has its pluses and minuses. The Location is not so good - away from the city (you need to drive there) and near nothing of interest. The only plus in this reguard is that the rooms located on the southern side have a nice view (whereas the rooms on the northern side have the parking view...). We stayed... More

Although the road to the hotel is kind of ugly, the hotel itself is located on top of the mountain, with beautiful view of the sea of Kineret. The service is kind, the food is great, spa is fine and rooms are wide. The treatments in the spa are very very expensive. Nice vacation. More

With the suggestion from our travel guide and a review in Israel's Time Out magazine we booked a two day stay at the Canaan Spa. It was bad! The food was mediocre and poorly presented. The spa treatments for two out of three of us were HORRIBLE -- and the staff was so difficult and not willing to accommodate our... More

Firstly, the pool photos a wild exaggeration the pool is smallish, the spa is not so nice though the massage is still ok. The hotel is in a neighborhood of Zfat and not at all secluded as their website shows. there is nowhere to tan except for a small patch of grass overlooking the road. the food is very very... More
