This hotel is rated 5 stars but actually isn't up to that rating. The bathroom is old equipped. AC doesnt work properly. Luckily it shares good scene just like those neighboring big hotels in the zone. Next time i will stay at Shila or other around since Kal is very remote. Service ugly. Rooms not great. Globally the hotel is old and dedicated to produce a good service to staff of the airline company only. Indeed, Kal hotel is a subsidiary of Korean airlines. There are better and cheaper hotels in thre City. Our worst hotel in Korea. More

The hotel itself was lovely with a great buffet breakfast and onsite bakery (which was much more expensive than bakeries in downtown). There is nothing bad about this hotel, though nothing too special either. The staff are helpful. Btw, I heard that the rooms facing the sea have great view (I got the one facing the center of the city). I didn't find anything bad, but anything so much special in there neither. All is clean, comfortable enough and nice service. Maybe I was too much into the Island itself.. The views, the volcanos, the ocean and all.. You don't think about the hotel once you go to Jeju, you think about the nature! More
