A nice resort hotel. Surroundings were beautiful. Check in was a breeze. One down side was that there is no free WiFi in the rooms. We had to go to the common lounge/reception area to read our emails. Quite surprising for a 5star resort. The dinner buffet by the volcano show was good. There were quite a lot of variety... More

This is one of the biggest, and best hotels I've ever stayed in! Hotel staff were so helpful and courteous -- 2 examples : the bellboy who sent our luggage to our room refused to take a tip, saying it is his duty to make guests happy and comfortable, and it is a pleasure when we are happy. Another one... More

This is a nice hotel with some nice facilities but I didn't think it was at the standard it claimed to be. Staff were nice but their english was poor. They couldn't really communicate with us and told us nothing about the facilities of the hotel or breakfast when we checked in. Dinner buffet by the volcano show was extortionately... More

It is a very grand hotel. Big and all. Room is good size plus the bathroom is big too. Breakfast was included in our package and it was a good serving size. Very happy with the breakfast. The sapphire room breakfast is the best! It has both western and Asian combine. Really annoyed computer in the Internet zOne. Needed to... More

(1) Great value for money. (2) Private beach that overlooks the beautiful pacific ocean. Exclusive beach lounge that caters to the beach-enthusiasts. Although the opening hours are short, it only opens from 11 am. (3) Excellent service staff. The demure and gentle Korean attributes, coupled with the professionalism in the hotel staff, makes the weekend stay an absolutely pleasant one.... More

This is by far one of the largest properties I have seen under one roof. My spacious room was a 10 minute walk from the lobby. The room was well appointed but clearly intended for holidays as opposed to business travel - not enough power outlets and no wi-fi. Breakfast was average for a western guy but my Korean colleagues... More

We recently spent 2 nights at Lotte Jeju. First with the positives - the location is ideal overlooking a beach (need to walk down steep set of stairs to access) and close to many attractions and restaurants. We found it convenient for day trips on either east or west side of the island. The staff is friendly and do their... More

Jeju island (south Korea) is considered as one of the most beautiful places in the world. I think it is correct even if it is a little bit boring. Lotte Hotel is placed in a beautiful location (but without anything nearby). The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and the personnel and the service are excellent. The SPA (you miust pay for... More

First... I have to admit that I was staying at the Lotte Hotel while taking part in a conference, and the cost of my stay was covered. However, this was clearly the sort of expensive hotel where you get what you pay for. My room was spacious and the 'mini bar' in one corner was almost like a little shop.... More

It's a resort and all the good and bad things that go with a resort, go with it. Good- nice rooms, fancy pool, restaurants, concierge, extremely polite employees. Bad- overpriced mini-bar in room, overpriced restaurants, charges for extras like internet. But all the bad is expected at a resort so it's not a shock, and as a result, not that... More
