We stayed there for our first night in Sri Lanka before starting our 2-week round trip. It's a great new hotel with very friendly staff - a little hard to find, but overall, we wish we had had more time there. The pool looked very inviting, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. Breakfast was amazing!

Six of us arrived late at night and decided to stay one night close to the airport. Reddot tours suggested St. Lachlans and it was a very adequate hotel for a one night stay. Good convenient location. Staff were very nice. Reliable airport pik up. Great basic place to stay if you arrive late at night or have an early morning flight. Clean basic rooms and nice breakfast. Not sure I'd stay for longer than a night though.

We stayed 2 nights at the St Lachlan. The rooms are big but not very well maintained. The service is nice but very slow. The breakfast was OK. The swimming pool is small but nice. Nice place to stay, peaceful and serene. I haven’t come across such helpful and cheerful staff. The management is very flexible towards accommodating guest requests.
