We spent 5 nights here. Our bungalow was comfortable and clean with plenty of room to move around in. Lovely outlook from the room to the swimming pool.We had no problems with our airconditioner being noisy inside the room, although the unit located outside the back of the bungalow was noisy. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the swimming... We have been. Coming here for 5 years and now feel like part of the 'family'. The charming resort is an oasis of peace and tranquility. I write this as in sit on the veranda of our traditional Thai bungalow crafted from luxurious teak, a gentle breeze is cooling the air and all Incan hear is the faint sound of... More

Was having a Bangkok weekend getaway here. The beach is around 100 m. from the resort. As you may know, Hua Hin is not the cleanest one so we gave up and choose to stay in our cosy little cottage. Every wooden cottage is facing the cobalt blue pool and there are quite a bit of green palm trees right... More

I highly recommend Baan Duangkaew for a relaxing stay away from the noise and bars in Hua Hin. The Bungalows are nice and clean, not too fancy. There are a lot of trees and flowers so you are living in a garden. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Twice a day there's a shuttlebus to Hua Hin, but you... More

Two main problems with this resort. The mosquites are a real problem and unlike many other hotels in this area there are no mossie nets over the beds. The breakfast is really poor and the restaurant is a really dreary down market place out of place in this nice resort setting. Also the beach is stated as being 100m away... More

Overall I enjoyed my 9 day stay here, the staff were really friendly and tried to make my stay a good one and in this they succeeded, the place was a wee bit hard to find and directions could have been better. I really liked the location of the hotel as its at the quiet end of the road and... More

This was a brilliant find! we stayed just four nights but like so many others wish it had been longer. It was very peaceful and very lush and tropical looking, the thai style accomodation is basic inside but very clean and the bungalows are a few steps from the pool. One of the pools is set in the shade and the... I stayed 3 days on July 2008. Good small resort with very nice Thai style bungalows, small but very good gardens and two nice swimming pools. Everything makes you feel very - very relax, but I have a couple of negatives to mention... 1. We have no hot water in our bangalow (although we mentioned the problem at the reception... More

I booked Baan Duangkaew for 7 nights originally but extended this by another 3 nights. This is a terrific little resort to the south of Hua Hin and is very close to the beach. There are two swimming pools in the resort and the accommodation is wooden Thai bungalow type. The bungalows are excellent with ensuite shower room and a... More
