Stayed at the Ibis for about 5 nights in Patong. The hotel is a budget hotel but it is on the upper scale of budget hotels. It is a budget hotel, and that is very obvious, there are better youth hostels these days. The hotel itself is nice. Very modern feel. I didn't like that I was unaware until I was checking in that I needed to leave a 2000baht deposit and since I choose credit card it will take about 2 weeks for them to put it back on my credit card. nice hotel in patong beach,the room are small but clean,is not far from the beach and the market,pool nice and the staff are very kind,the breakfast can be better.i raccomend this hotel the only bad thing but is not about the hotel is the beach,in patong the water is not clean better kata beach.
