Kusadasi not that great of a destination itself- like most cheesy beach resorts but location convenient to many sights and this hotel interestingly different.

Conveniently located but very poor service. The receptionist though sweet, could not speak more than 10 words in english. Breakfast was good but there service was poor and mismanaged. Room was comfortable and clean but not worth the price!

Fortunately our travel agent mucked up the dates, leaving us one day short of accommodation in Kusadai and allowing us to transfer to the Caravanserail Hotel, a family run business housed in a 17th century building that ooozes style and history. Yes, it looks good from the outside, old and authentic but the rooms are Soviet Union circa 1979. I think whoever owns this place is wasting a great opportunity.
