The room wasn't anything fancy. But the room was large and spacious and ours was in a cave. The thing the place has going for it was that it has some of the best views in the area, eating breakfast on the veranda was breathtaking.

Our tour operator booked this hotel for us and it turned out to be a miserable experience!
The hotel is not cutout for winter travel: when we arrived the heat was not turned on in our rooms making it so uncomfortable we went to a local restaurant to wait until it was warm enough to return. In the middle of...

The Sarihan Cave Hotel is a family owned and operated cave hotel with some of the best views right in the center of town. The family is very accommodating and friendly including the adorable children. English is spoken by some staff so there is no problem communicating. The free traditional Turkish Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The enclosed breakfast...

We stopped in a couple of far more expensive Cave Hotels. The Sarihan is a little tired but the room was comfortable and there is a good outdoor sitting area with views over the valley. The service was excellent, the owner allowed us to store some items while we cycled down to the Ilarah Valley and offered us the key...

I had a great stay in a cave Room at the Sarihan Cave Hotel. I asked for a double bed and they gave me a nice room with 2 beds on the top terrace. The views were magnificent and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was okay; the location perfect. In particular, Antonio provided excellent service and was always...

The position was very good and the staff welcoming and helpful. With a bit of a thorough clean of the bathrooms and breakfast room this place could do far...

Yep, you read it right, Sarihan was the worst of all our hotel experiences in Turkey. Its not a 3 Star, its not even a motel 5 i'd call it a shed in my backyard, with a foam bed that might be clean if you're lucky.
So for the reviewer who wrote" Welcoming, unintrusive family hotel, offering any service they...
