2nd visit to Ürgup Evi (the Rock House) Stayed in Room 22 spacious and beautifully decorated in keeping with the Cappadochia theme. Staff welcoming and hospitable. Ate supper at the hotel -delicious, with regional specialties. I am gluten intolerant and the the staff made every effort to accommodate my restrictions. Wifi (free) available. Gorgeous view. My family stayed three nights here in March and we loved it. The room was very nice with three comfortable beds. The bathroom had both a jacuzzi and a sauna. A private sauna! Since it was cool out, it was so nice to sit in the sauna and warm up every night. The entire staff was very friendly, including their... More

My 2 friends (Cheryl and Stella) and I (Marilyn) stayed at this wonderful cave hotel on our visit to this unbelievably beautiful part of Turkey. I can honestly say staying at this cave hotel was a highlight on our trip. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helped to make us feel at home in our cave dwelling! The room we... More

We didn't know what to expect from a 'cave' room, but it was a pleasant surprise, especially the bathroom which provided a lot more space than most European hotels. There was tea and coffee in the room and a big complimentary bottle of water. The setting was beautiful with views of the valley and the balloons over in Goreme. The... More

Hands down the best property we stayed at on our 2 week honeymoon in Turkey. Staff was incredibly gracious and friendly. The food was fantastic, especially the cheese. Igor, the hotel dog, is a fun addition and will walk you down to the city center or greet you as you return home from a day out. The room (though it... More

I stayed at the Urgup Evi Rock House/Cave HoteI two nights the end of May but I wish it could have been longer. The cave room was very spacious, especially for one person. My room had a huge king size bed and sitting area. The bathroom was large as well. The decor was in keeping with the theme of the... More

My family stayed in two rooms in this hotel. It is a lovely small hotel with large well appointed cave rooms, all on different levels and with different shapes. It has an eclectic but homely feel. The staff are very friendly and obliging, particularly the manageress who is great. Breakfasts are very nice. The setting is beautiful and so relaxing. We... More

Lovely hotel with rooms in caves, all on varying levels. Caves are light and cool and dry. Furnishings are cleverly built-in. Showers could use more hot water and more water pressure. Restaurant accommodating and the food is lovingly prepared. Best breakfasts!

Beautiful cave hotel, good bathrooms, but lacks comfort and warmth. Indifferent service, overpriced, surprisingly poor food.
