This place defines "DIVE". We could NOT believe the condition of this hotel. We were brought here in a broken down van for our day tour of Pamukkale. The condition of the van (filthy and barely running!) should have been our first clue to turn and RUN AWAY but we had booked the tour months before through an agency in...

My husband and I were booked in this awful hotel by an Istanbul Travel company (Aussie Tours--dont use them) for one nights stay while we travelled through Turkey recently.
THIS IS NOT A THREE STAR HOTEL

My husband and I had booked a bus to Pamukkale, hotel and tour while we were in Istanbul. We arrived to the Koray around 9 pm, and we were very disappointed. Everybody was friendly.
The room was good (and a nice garden). but without TV.
There were some problems with the shower. but we fixed it.
The breakfast was good. but it could be better.

The hotel is very very economical I have to say. Compared to the more "luxury ones" in the same region it is about only 1/3 of their price. Inclusive of a very fruggal breakfast at the pool side.
Do not look for luxury or over-attentive staff. Our room lock had some problems when we arrived and they tried to repair,...

My room had hot water - it just took about 10 minutes to warm up.
Beds were good.
Hotel gardens would be pretty, but were in process of building a hot tub & pool was empty.
Fruit at breakfast was a nice & welcome change from other hotels.
