It's so disappointing when the image of a hotel portrayed on the web does not match reality. The hotel was dark, dingy and tired. The bedrooms were also dark, dingy and tired. The 'hot' water was never more than tepid. However, the hotel was in a perfect position to visit the historical sites and the breakfasts were adequate.

Simple hotel, reasonably priced, with good service. Not everyone knows English, but they have friends on "speed-dial" who can come and translate. Always willing to help. The hotel staff had sufficient English, rooms were clean and the downstairs-breakfast was just fine, and a good place to chat with other travelers if you like. The hotel is not a bustling place, overflowing with humanity, but it is clean, quiet, and just a short walk to the Mevlana Museum or to Aladdin Park. A safe bet!

In our 18 days in Turkey, regretfully, this was the worst hotel we overnighted at. The only redeeming factor was the worthwhile visit to the Mevlana Muzeum, but what a price to pay!
