As the heading says, I found it had a rather suburban feel to it and looked a bit overdone.Frankly, it looked like a Midlands stab at a 'gastro pub', Not for me at all but I suppose I can see the appeal if you like that rather twee English thing, but in Turkey, why?.

The lodge was everything that we could wish for: nice food; comfortable beds; friendly and efficient staff; a well-maintained swimming pool and a charismatic hostess. This is a charming hotel with a lodge like atmosphere. Mel the owner is very helpful and accommodating. The view is nonstop and the rooms clean and comfortable.

We loved the spectacular mountain location, beautiful gardens and charming owner whose personal warmth added to the lovely dinner she personally served. Breakfast was the usual delicious Turkish fare, olives, cheese, bread, fruit and homemade jams. Views of the towering mountain range behind and the fertile valley spreading out below were breathtaking.

Once again we revisited the Mountain Lodge and had a fantastic time. It is one of the most beautiful places we have visited. Sited within a short walk of the Tlos ruins, the lodge is a great palce for a break from you holiday. I'd just like to add another recommendation. This is a quiet, relaxing place to stay, with great food, excellent views and a wonderful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble for Mel and her team, and I look forward to our next trip.
