We rented a small cottage for our family (dog included). As several reviewers have pointed out, the grounds are stunning. The lawn is kept very clean, and there were no signs of deer poop (as one reviewer noticed). There are many lawn chairs, tables, hammocks, and places to relax on the spacious and neat property. Our room was definitely dated.... More

It has mostly all been said by other reviewers here -- we LOVE Gansett Green Manor and recommend it highly. Unpretentious, reasonably priced, clean and friendly. Our second visit (2012) was just as nice as the first (2011) -- and we lucked-out with great weather. The beach pass alone is worth its weight in gold. Housekeeper Narcisa deserves special mention... Gansett Green Manor is our favorite place to stay in the Hamptons. The rooms are quaint with lots of Hamptons charm and still reasonably priced. Each room we’ve stayed in has a different character, and they’re all a great place to escape our hectic schedules and really “un-plug” for a week. The hotel is right on Main Street, and within... I thought the property was adorable, charming, well kept and private. The room we stayed in was actually an individual cottage with a kitchenette, separate bedroom, living room and updated bath. It was very clean...They had a large area for you to walk your dog in the back. It was very dog friendly..I went in October 2011 and it was... More

The room and furniture were dated and unappealing. There was some kind of a deer skin rug or something in the bedroom which looked rather unclean. There are big heaters mounted on the walls, presumably because the place was not winterized. I don't stay in hotels for the TV, but I honestly can't remember the last time I stayed in... More

Gansett Green Manor is tucked-away off the Amagansett main street. We contemplated renting a house, but the weighing the true value of staying here was: 1) we could bring our dogs; 2) daily housekeeping services; 2) invaluable beach pass for our car + beach chairs/towels; 3) bikes to borrow; 3) lovely open garden spaces and comfortable outdoor furniture to entertain... We rented out the whole property of GGM – 13 cottages + the house (which they no longer rent) for our wedding reception last September. Pricing is fairly reasonable, especially for a treasure like GGM. We had 180 people at our wedding, but having our closest friends and family together on the property all weekend made it feel so special... More

We are very familiar with the Hamptons. Have stayed in several B&B's, hotels, etc. Gansett Green Manor has a nice website, but is one of the worst lodging options. The interior was dirty, with dirty spots on the carpet and dirt on the floor. The furniture is very shabby. The room was dark and small. The bathroom was tiny. I... More

Gansset Green Manor is a country Inn whose buildings date from the late 1800's. The original property was a farm and the original building were converted in the 1940's into cottages and country-style accommodations. The currents owners purchased the property in 1993 and have spent much time and effort lovingly upgrading and updating the rooms. This process, however is an... More

My wife and I took our first trip out to Amagansett and were able to get a last minute, two night reservation at the Green Gansett. We stayed in a studio with an updated kitchen and bathroom. Behind the rooms, there is a humongous backyard with plenty of private spaces to sit and eat your meals. The Gansett provides beach... More

I've stayed at the Gansett for years now and it just gets better and better! It's a hidden Gem that I can't picture my summers without! The staff is attentive and sweet, they even take my dog Jordi out for a walk while I work long hours in East Hampton. The Landscaping is also amazing, I always feel a million... More
