We stayed for 3 nights at the end of African adventureand it was more than we expected. Greeted at the airport by Christopher who assisted us to his vehicle anf offered us water, wine, beer, soda whick he had with him. They take a cooler of beverages with them whenever they take you somewhere. When we arrived at the lodge,... More

Waterberry Lodge is well located near Livingston and the Victoria Falls but secluded and private. A beautifully maintained lodge with wonderful staff. The staff are genuinely helpful, interested and friendly. The food was delicious with fresh bread baked for every meal and a fire to sit around at night. Or sit on the deck to watch the sun go down... More

This review is a little delayed - we stayed at Waterberry for 3 days last summer - at the beginning of our trip to Zambia and Botswana (a return trip for my husband who had lived and worked in Botswana and the first trip to Afirica for our children). We all loved it and wished we'd stayed longer - highlights... More

This was our second stop on our fantastic trip to Africa. Christopher was waiting for us at the airport. It was a nice feeling having a local meet and greet us as soon as we picked up our baggage. The lodge and location are beautiful. The food was delicious. I especially liked the chef's preparation of local cuisine. Everyone was... More

My wife and I stayed three wonderful nights at this outstanding lodge. Yes, it is a short drive from Livingstone but well worth it for the scenery and solitude. The rooms are spacious and clean, the food was very good and the staff were excellent. Thanks Kevin Chris Charmaine and Webe. We already want to come back! More

We stayed at Waterberry for 3 nights at the end of a very enjoyable but very busy trip to Botswana. We wanted to visit Victoria Falls and relax before returning home. Waterberry lodge proved to be exactly what we needed. From the moment our driver met us at the Kasungula ferry, service was impeccable, warm friendly and relaxed. Our agent... More

This is a great place to relax and chill-out, if reading a book on the edge of the Zambezi watching the world drift by is what you want, then this may be the place for you. But we stayed there as we were visiting the Victoria Falls and they are 45km away (plus the lodge is approx 3km down a... More

I thought it worth while to make a couple of comments on this review. Victoria Falls are, in fact, 35k from our driveway. To make sure guests are aware of this the first line on our home page reads 'our small, friendly, informal lodge is just 30 minutes from Livingstone but in the heart of the wild'.........It's a trade off,... What a fabulous place to stay. The warm welcome nothing too much trouble. The rooms are beautiful, grounds well manicured everything perfect. Could not fault the lodge at all. Would recommend the Sunset Cruise. Best memory was of Three Hippos popping out of the water in front of us while we drank our Gin and Tonics on the veranda. Thank... More

My friend and I started our Safari in Zambia and we chose to stay at The Waterberry. There is no better introduction to Africa than starting here. I have come to learn that the kind people that you meet become just as important as the standard purpose of your trip, animal safari. As we returned one day from our elephant... More

Beautiful, small and intimate lodge in a fabulous location right on the mighty Zambezi river! Perfect location for all the activities at the falls........I was brave enough to do a microlight flight over the falls, hiked all around the falls including down to the boiling point and back, knees screamming on the way down and heart attack material on the...
