An opulent 5 star resort hotel. The grounds have roaming zebras, giraffes, impalas and monkeys. Staff are obliging and helpful. Each room comes with a butler. Breakfast was outstanding, dinner buffet at sister hotel next door buffet was disappointing. Victoria Falls as awe inspiring.

This was an unbelievable experience. Everything is perfect. location, view, on site activities, ambiance. We did have 1 problem with a worker who make an advance on an 11year old in our group. Management acted quickly.

Stayed for 3 nights in this lovely Hotel. The Hotel itself is stunning, you arrive and greeted by Edward in his lovely colourful outfit (Rooi Rokie as he called the red one as we left) he was the best employee there, athough the rest are vert helpful and friendly, he always went that 1 step more. On arrival, we checked... More

Spot well chosen for celebrating an anniversary, very romantic, peaceful and beautiful location. Though everything is very costly at this hotel, every meal and drink comes with an usual steep charge, it is worth spending a couple of nights there as the service is good, the rooms are nice, the gardens are very well looked after, many activities are available.... If you want to be close to nature and the Victoria Falls this is the place. As we lounged by the pool, overlooking the Zambesi river, a couple of wild zebras just ambled past, stopping from time to time to munch the grass by our lounger. They were quickly followed by a giraffe lolloping along the river bank right by... More

This was the best choice to walk to the falls at all times. We were so happy being that close and went in different times to take pictures, walked up till the end of one trail, down to the river and and across the bridge getting all wet and even went to the market and bought very inexpensive souvenirs. The... More

We stayed at the Royal Livingstone for 2 nights in April which was the end of the rainy season so the Zambezi river was at capacity, the falls were raging and the grounds were extremely green. The weather was in the mid-80's and sunny. This is a lovely oasis in Zambia, it is hard to believe that one is in... More

Beautiful grounds along Zambezi River and you can walk to Victoria Falls (free admission during your stay-- saves you $25 fee pp). The rooms with balconies are truly luxurious and spacious -- great linens, teas, bathroom with hot tub and shower. Breakfast buffet is not to be missed and dinner was delicious as well -- view of river and animals... More

This place had one of the worst staff we have ever experienced. When we arrived, they did not have a record of the restaurants we requested so we asked the concierge and activities people for recommendations. They didn't know any restaurants in the area! We found two great local African and Indian restaurants on our own. The glass door of... More

From the moment I walked into the hotel, it was WOW. It was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were very welcoming. The room was lovely and the views over the Zambezi River were awesome. It was in an ideal location for seeing the Victoria Falls, just a short walk away. The staff were tremendous and the food was gorgeous. Would... More
