This hotel met all my hopes. It was very clean, on the Red Sea, great staff both in the hotel and on the beach area, good sized rooms and good food. It also offers you the use of its sister hotel at Taba Bay. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for either business or pleasure.

Nice modern hotel, with large clean rooms, complimentary mini bar in the room which gets restocked each day. The garden/pool areas were immaculate, but the winter pool which is supposed to be heated was very cold! The rooms were clean, modern and very nice. The multiple pools perfect and right next to these were it's own beach. I got upgraded to a suite upon checking in. The rooms are very comfortable. The buffets were the best that I had in Jordan. The hotel has great views of Aqaba and the Red Sea. One of the sports channels has a replay of an NHL hockey game at 6pm which I thought was really neat.

We made a mistake by staying at Moevenpick. The hotel was tired. Service was average. The staff understood very little English. Like its sister hotel at Petra, there was no turn down service. Once again Movenpick doesn't meet expectations. Spent time at check in explaining we wanted a king bed but again ended up with 2 single beds. Bathroom outdated and small. It all start from the main gate, the security persone has no sense of hospitality nor making the guest feels welcomed .
