We didn't expect much from Coral Bay but still... could be better even for low standard hotel. First of all be prepared for some trick: You will get free bottle of mineral water from waiter at your first dinner at the hotel. Next evening waiter will ask you if you want to have water NOT mentioning that it's not free... More

I had booked Coral Bay without knowing that it was a good 20+ minutes drive from Aqaba - it is FAR, well past the large hotel establishments, and royal diving club, it's in fact right next to the royal navy and marine club - we had to drive past a garrison and armed truck to reach the hotel since it... I stayed there on November 2010. The hotel is so far from the city. We had to pay 8 JD (12$) from the city, and sometimes we were unable to find any taxis to take us from hotel. We reserved online 2 rooms (King-sized bed). When we arrived, we discovered that didn't make the necessary arrangements, and we had to... More

Close to the beach, fairly small with nice seaview rooms. Nice beach, and apperently one of the few hotels with corals in front of the beach. Nice place for snorkling. Very good diving facility next to the hotel. About 20 min by taxi/bus to Aqaba centre! Some serious downsides due to poor management; the rooms were not very clean and... More

Ask yourself, honestly, what kind of traveler you are: if you are easily grossed-out, are looking for a quiet experience, or have high standards for ambience and service, DO NOT come to this hotel. However, if you are the kind of mellow bohemian traveler that just wants a bit of sun and sand (that would stay in a hostel, for... More

We stayed at this hotel (2 adults one 10 yr old boy) and we were glad we didn't have to stay longer than one night. The elevator didn't work so we had to haul our luggage up to the 3rd floor, the aircon didn't work so we had to have the window open, and even though there was mosquito screen,... More

I stayed at this hotel last month and was pleasantly surprised by the general standard of the hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. The pool is lovely and it's great to be right next the the sea! I would stay here again as we had a fantastic stay! More

Stayed there for 3 nights and it was very dissapointing. Too loud music in the pool, beach and general areas. The meals could be so much better. If you have a car go to Aqaba and have dinner there instead More

Great and fantastic location as it's by the red sea... you will get up in the morning with the breeze and sunrise... colourful fish and corals to entertain you when you do snorkeling close to the shore... the only concern is the way it's being manage. All the employees are Jordanian men, lady touch and charm are essential in this... More

The "sub title" to this hotel is "Royal Diving Club" which conjures up ideas of grandeur but it is actually very ordinary. It is not possible to swim off the beach because a) its roped off to protect the coral and b) there is a very difficult stretch of broken stone to cross. Swimming is restricted to using a pontoon...
