I stayed at this hotel on Apr 27-30, 2016 and need to share my experience to you all. A) How to go Even this hotel can be arrived easily but is quite far (from my point of view). From Nagoya station, you have to take local subway Higashiyama Line for FUJIGAOKA (yellow line) to Fushimi station. It's only 1 station next to Nagoya, however Nagoya station is quite big and complicate, if it's your first time there (like me) you should ask station staff where is entrance for Hagashiyama line. When arrive Fushimi station, please go to exit 7. It's the nearest exit to hotel. After exit from station, you have to walk around 10-15 mins to reach hotel (Google maps can help well to find this hotel). If you have big or many luggages, it maybe not much convenience cause distant from station to hotel is a bit far. But for backpackers, I think the distant is not your problem. B) Surrounding This hotel is located in resident area, so it's quite peaceful around. However, on the way to hotel, there are many restaurants, Doutor Cafe, Starbucks and also convenience stores (7-11 and K Circle). So, you'll have no problem about food, snack and drink. Cause it locates in resident area, so it's very quiet at night time. If you're peaceful lover, here is great for you. C) Hotel I'm not sure this hotel is for Men only or not but I don't see any women here. The hotel has 6 floors. I stay in private room at 4th floors. This room is spacious. There are refrigerator, TV, big desk and cabinet inside. They also provide toiletries and pajama for your stay. However, there is no private bathroom inside the room, you have to use shared bathroom at 1st floor. There are 2 kinds of bathroom; cabinet bathroom for private shower that you can use any time and Onsen bathroom style with bathtub that will be opened at 6:00 pm until midnight. Also toilet, it's shared toilet on the floor. Check-in time for this hotel is 4:00 pm. If you arrive early, you can leave luggages at hotel without cost and go to sight seeing around before check-in time. Overall, this hotel is good enough for solo tourist as myself when compare facility and price. However, you have to trade off with location that is a bit far from station. If you plan to visit Nagoya alone, I think this hotel is one of good choice for selection. Hope you have a nice trip to Nagoya ^_^…
