We have just stayed three nights at Hakuun Ryokan. Found the owners to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was varied automatically each day and on day three we were surprised with a western breakfast. It takes about 20/25 minutes walk from the train station, so they offer a transfer from the train station from 15h to 18h and in the morning from the Ryokan to town until 10h.
